But those shoutouts across the common office space, coffee machine talks, people coming to your desk with a question that they could answer themselves but they don’t bother - it’s so easy to distract someone, right? This does not add up neither to productivity, nor creativity.

For myself, I am more productive working from home. I am doing great. I am not stressed. My life is so much better and I am very loyal to my employer that I have this luxury to work from where I find it comfortable.
